I recently traveled to beautiful North Carolina to spend the day with Jennifer Baumert of Cloverlea Dressage at Cross Creek Farm. More info here: http://www.cloverleadressage.com/
Jen is a wonderful teacher and was very generous to allow me to lesson on one of her sale horses, a talented 8 year old mare named Alice. I was excited to meet Jen, as I am on the lookout for training opportunities in the South. My boyfriend, Nate is studying at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and I've been spending a little time in the area. I'm definitely looking forward to spending more time with Jen in the future. It's a beautiful farm with many lovely horses. Jen has a great teaching style; she was very respectful and clear with her instruction. I learned a lot in a short time!

I've been elected to serve on the North Woods Dressage Association (NWDA) Board of Directors! The NWDA is a hard working board with a dedicated membership. They do an enormous amount of hard work to keep the sport of dressage alive and well in our area. I'm excited to dive in, and am now chairing the Education Committee. I'm interested in enhancing the educational opportunities available to our members, so if you have ideas please send them my way!
