Boarding

125 acres of private land and an expansive view over Lake Superior contribute to our idyllic setting here at Spring Hill Farm.
We accept horses for boarding who are in training or whose riders are in an active education program at the farm.

Features of the farm include:
  • 17 roomy stalls in a heated barn with Comfort Stall mats  
  • Attached, insulated and heated indoor riding arena measuring 20x60m plus viewing areas
  • Indoor arena features Travel Right dust free footing by Footing First, plenty of mirrors and sound system
  • Full size outdoor dressage arena features Travel Bright footing by Footing First 
  • A large, enclosed sand mix outdoor jumping ring
  • Well maintained and mowed trail system with cross country jumps
  • Several large grass pastures as well as dry lot paddocks with PVC rail fencing
  • Heated automatic waterers in each stall and turn-out area
  • Automatic fly-spray system in barn
  • Wash stall with hot water, boarder tack room, barn lounge with shower all add to the amenities
  • On-site barn manager 

Board includes:
  • Horses enjoy 24 hour turnout in large pastures with shelters and small herds whenever weather allows
  • Daily blanketing or fly spray as needed
  • Daily stall cleaning when stalled
  • High quality hay is fed when not on pasture 
  • Individualized grain mixture fed twice daily
  • Base board rate includes 4 training sessions per month

Training

We offer customized lessons and training for horses and riders of all experience levels. Here are some different ways to learn!

  • Boarders participate in regular training or lessons
  • Short or long-term training horses are welcome. Full and partial training options available.
  • Haul-in lessons
  • Virtual lessons using live or recorded videos
  • Don't have your own horse? Lessons and leasing may be available. 
  • Short term 'intensive' stays for consecutive lesson or training days
  • Sales/consignment horses welcome
  • Clinics at your barn! Organize a group of riders and arrange a date. All levels and backgrounds encouraged!
